Simple actions for the environment
2008 Environment Awards

Attention FragÎles needs your participation for this year's edition of the Meritas Environnementaux, the Environnement Awards.

We want to know your opinion on who among the Islands' youth, adults and organizations could receive such an award. With this year's focus on "simple actions for the environment", think of the simple actions that have been done in the past year that really made a difference for the islands' environment.

Four awards will be presented, one for each of the following categories :

Any of the Islands' individuals, businesses and organisations may submit their choice of candidates and be nominated as well.

To submit your choice of candidates, fill-in the following form and send it to us by mail, fax or email. Forms are also available from the Municipality of Grosse-Île, CEDEC or CAMI, at your Caisse Desjardins, at the COOP or in pharmacies, as well as from our website, www.attentionfragiles.org.

Deadline for submissions is October 17th. Good luck !

The Organization

Who is Attention FragÎles?

Attention FragÎles is an non-profit organization founded in 1988 under the name Mouvement pour la valorisation du patrimoine naturel des Îles-de-la-Madeleine inc. [movement for the appreciation of the natural heritage of the Îles-de-la-Madeleine]. The group formed from the desire to unite local efforts to protect and promote the natural heritage of the archipelago.

The organization operates thanks to the volunteer efforts of it Board of Directors and many other members, and the work of its employees.
